Acquisition provides opportunity: With a steady and successful track record implementing Oracle’s retail software, BTM Global saw an opportunity with Oracle’s acquisition of NetSuite. As a NetSuite partner, BTM Global could expand its customer base beyond retail, reach more business outside of North America and build its own expertise into the NetSuite solution.

Spreadsheets thwart growth: As an organisation that implemented NetSuite for others, BTM Global saw the advantages of running its own business on the platform—and decided to ditch the spreadsheets and move toward a more efficient platform for itself. BTM Global now leverages NetSuite for managing forecasting and the resource management of its services team, which enables more efficient and accurate process for tracking growth.

Adding financial and CRM software: Replacing Sage and Microsoft CRM with NetSuite for CRM and financials, BTM Global now has more consistency with gross margin and can better control costs with a unified view of its services business.

International presence: With a NetSuite practice in place targeting retail, wholesalers and manufacturing, and a Vietnam office which has developed the only financial localisation package for NetSuite in that country, BTM Global is poised for continued growth in new industries, new channels and new territories outside of North America.
