"When you’re working on a global scale, having systems that all work together is extremely valuable." Danielle Rommé, VP and Controller, Templafy

Simplifying Business Content Creation

Landing and expanding
Since it was founded in 2014, Templafy grew with a “land and expand” strategy, adding customers and then finding champions within those organizations who helped increase their company’s use of the application. Templafy also acquired businesses to build out its service and pool of talent. Today, the company has three million users across more than 600 enterprise customers.
Searching for a scalable system
Originally, Templafy’s sister company Omnidocs handled its finances. But Templafy’s growth soon created a need for a separate financial management system that could match its size, ambitions, and international footprint. Templafy leadership also wanted a better view of cash and liquidity and increased automation of financial processes.
Drill-down reports, Salesforce integration
Templafy chose NetSuite because of its strong analytics and drill-down reporting capabilities, as well as its proven integration with Salesforce. Positive conversations with existing NetSuite reference customers sealed the deal. Today, Templafy uses NetSuite for its core accounting and financials, including revenue recognition, with NetSuite OneWorld meeting its need for multiple currencies, consolidations, and intercompany transactions.
Adding power through integration
Particularly attractive for Templafy is how easily the business can plug in different applications to NetSuite to make the ERP even more powerful. In addition to Salesforce, Templafy has integrated solutions for expense management, credit card payments, and tax compliance. Templafy plans to automate its payroll and vendor payable systems through integrations with NetSuite in the near future.
