“Having the versatility of an all-encompassing ERP solution like NetSuite’s was much better than running separate systems; and it can do pretty much anything.” Salem AlBatati, IT Director, Richy Group

Future-Proofing Retail in Saudi Arabia

Tailored fit
Since 2004, the company has opened a handful of its own stores to showcase a full lineup of products. The stores serve coffees on Richy tableware while customers enjoy professional tailoring services. The brand also recently launched an ecommerce division to help increase orders from 100 to 2,000 a day.
Multiple channels
In Richy’s growing wholesale business, most customers had different IT systems. It was becoming increasingly difficult to get an accurate picture of demand and inventory requirements across multiple channels. So, Richy implemented a unified, omnichannel system to cover everything from retail to manufacturing.
Data integration
Using a local implementation partner, Trustangle, Richy made a smooth transition to NetSuite in just over six months. NetSuite now organises the team’s purchases throughout the year, its follow-up with vendors and its payments. Everyone can access all the necessary data—on stocks, sales and supplies—via the cloud. Maintaining orders and invoicing is now simpler with all departments running on one platform and easy integration to other solutions.
Building loyalty
Richy plans to add more apps and tools in the future, including building a loyalty and CRM database to encourage more clients to keep coming back.
