Raw Fury Drives International Growth With Advanced Financial Capabilities in NetSuite

Since its founding in 2015, Raw Fury has grown into a premier publisher of indie video games. The company is headquartered in Stockholm and runs a development studio in Croatia. Two years ago, Nordic-based investment fund Altor Equity Partners took majority ownership of Raw Fury, with a mandate to expand the publisher’s business through organic growth and acquisition.

A Video-Game Publisher Readies for Its Next Level of Growth

Indie games go mainstream
Raw Fury set out to change the dynamic between game developers and publishers, prioritising the creative process to develop more artistic, story-driven games. Today it has dozens of popular titles across all major gaming platforms, and the company is well on its way to achieving that mission.
Outgrowing a basic financial system
To support international growth plans, Raw Fury needed more advanced financial functionality than it was getting from Fortnox, a financial system aimed at entrepreneurs managing one location. Raw Fury also needed to completely remap its internal systems and processes so it could more easily handle multiple currencies and subsidiaries.
Leveling up to ERP
Raw Fury chose NetSuite OneWorld as its ERP system because it could seamlessly handle global operations, including financial consolidation of multiple business units and locations. Now, Raw Fury’s financial reporting is faster and more accurate, and teams working on individual game titles can clearly view revenue and cost allocations per game to make any necessary adjustments.
Best-in-class operations
Raw Fury is working with NetSuite Advanced Customer Support (ACS) to further customise its workflows, reporting, and dashboards. As it continues to grow through both organic and acquisition, the company will rely on NetSuite to support its goal of becoming an internationally recognised, best-in-class game publisher.
